Echelon Wealth Partners announces new Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales and Trading

Toronto, December 05, 2016 – Echelon Wealth Partners Inc. (Echelon) today named David Doritty its Executive Vice-President responsible for Institutional Sales and Trading. Mr. Doritty was most recently at Mackie Research Capital Corp., where he worked first as a consultant and then as Deputy Chairman for the period May 2015 to October 2016.

Other previous firms include Dundee Capital Management, National Bank Financial and First Marathon Securities, where he worked in institutional sales. At Dundee Capital he was charged with restructuring and managing the equity sales and trading departments across Canada.

Since January 2014, Echelon has raised more than $2.1 billion for corporate clients and was lead or co-lead on more than half of those transactions.  On the wealth management side, Echelon continues to add Investment Advisors to the team with more than 60 Advisors working in eight wealth management branches across Canada.
